TTI Youth Call for Leaders Who Serve, Empower, and Inspire

Judiciary Breakout Group - Tonga Youth Vote Workshop, 13/10/2025

TTI Youth Remind Leaders of the Leadership They Want to See in Tonga

With the elections approaching and voting day set for 20th November, youth at Tupou Training Institute (TTI) are sending a clear message to all candidates: the leadership they want to see in Tonga is grounded in integrity, service, fairness, and empowerment.

According to TTI students, effective leaders are those who lead by example, demonstrating the values they ask of others. They serve their communities, putting the needs of the people first. They act with fairness and honesty, ensuring decisions are just and inclusive. And most importantly, they uplift and empower others, creating opportunities for everyone—regardless of background—to thrive.

As voters, TTI youth are looking for candidates who embody these principles, who are committed to putting the people first, and who will take tangible action to strengthen communities. They are clear about the kind of leadership that will inspire trust, drive positive change, and truly represent the voices of the people.

TTI students are VOTE READY!
